WEEKLY LOW NET
Every week we play regular golf, we will be awarding a ‘low net’ prize of $25.
Your “Net score” refers to a golfer’s score after handicap strokes have been deducted. Put more technically, the net score is a player’s gross score (the actual number of strokes played) minus the strokes his or her course handicap allows to be deducted during the course of the round.
To qualify:
- You must be a member of Golf Canada and have a current handicap factor that can be verified for calculation.
- For that round, keep a second scorecard with your gross score and hand it in to the pro shop at the end of play.
- Enter your gross score for that round, whether it is 9 or 18 holes.
- Have your name, date and tee box played on the card.
This will be calculated on a 9-hole round, to include everyone that can qualify.
