Fellow WGS Members, Now that everyone has had a few days to recover, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you and reflect on what was a fantastic 2026 WGS Challenge Cup. The golf was competitive, the matches were close, and the banter was alive and well all weekend. More importantly, the event brought members together in a way that reminds us why we enjoy being part of this club. It was great to see longtime members, newer members, and everyone in between spending time together, meeting new people, and sharing in a memorable weekend of golf. Congratulations to the Eldorado Bandits on

Thanks to Geoff Howard, Jon Domansky, Cory Grieve and Ian Heron for proudly representing Wintergreen Golf at the Alberta Interclub Championship at Kananaskis on September 8, 2026.

Hello Wintergreen members, your Society board wants to thank everyone who was able to participate in this year’s Member Guest Day on Saturday August 8.  We’ve included some pictures of those who were playing and who came out with the big prize winnings!  Steve and Trevor set up some different formats for us to use during the round, and it really made the day interesting!

We had a great weekend of golf both in the weather department and the fun department. Thanks to everyone who participated, we doubled our ladies entries from last year and had 30 gentlemen signed up to play. Thanks to the RCR crew for putting on a well run event including getting the wrap up dinner catered by the super yummy Smokin’ Oak Barbeque. Below is the list of cash winners from the weekend, remember this could be you next year taking home a prize and having a ton of fun! Third Flight Low Gross Hal
