Hello Wintergreen members, your Society board wants to thank everyone who was able to participate in this year’s Member Guest Day on Saturday August 8. We’ve included some pictures of those who were playing and who came out with the big prize winnings! Steve and Trevor set up some different formats for us to use during the round, and it really made the day interesting!
We had a great weekend of golf both in the weather department and the fun department. Thanks to everyone who participated, we doubled our ladies entries from last year and had 30 gentlemen signed up to play. Thanks to the RCR crew for putting on a well run event including getting the wrap up dinner catered by the super yummy Smokin’ Oak Barbeque. 9AM SHOTGUN - SATURDAY, MAY 31 Join us for a 4-person scramble. The main goal for this event is to have fun. This event will be a 4-person scramble for members and their guests with team and individual prizes for low gross/net and most honest team. Plus, skill & fun proxies, hole in one prize, and a continental breakfast to kick off the event.
Key Dates, Tournaments & Events
Men’s League runs every Thursday starting May 29th. It will continue until the last week of August, concluding with a 18 hole shotgun tournament with dinner with prizes to follow. The League is open to everyone and all ability levels.

Our vision this year is to provide a relaxed night out and a way to enjoy the game in a non-pressure environ- ment, whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started – we really want this to be a year for the ladies to have a social night, have some fun, meet some new people, and grow the league!
As a fulltime Wintergreen Golf & Country Club non-equity or returning seasonal member, when you refer a “new” member who joins Wintergreen GCC / Wintergreen Golf Society, as the non-equity or returning seasonal member, you’ll receive one dozen WGS branded Vice Pro Plus premium golf balls as a token of our appreciation! After that, it’s up to you to share. Or not.
11:00AM SHOTGUN Thanksgiving, Monday October 14. Make tracks to the final day of the season. In celebration of another wonderful, spectacular season of “quack f*ck!!” Shotgun start, 18 holes of fun, comradeship, and friendly competition. Call or visit the proshop to register.
