Blocked Tee Times
Dear Members I hope that you and your families are safe and well during these challenging times. There have been some questions regarding ‘blocked’ tee times, and we wanted to provide an update and some explanation. This year Wintergreen has seen a global pandemic and like most other courses particularly around Calgary, a reduction in membership. The Glencoe, which used to have a 7-9 year waiting list, has no current waiting list and offered yearly due memberships to social members, for the first time in its history. AGM
Like the rest of 2019, the weather had to be endured. Enough members persevered to give us a quorum. I'd like to thank all those that could not attend but took the time to forward a proxy to a member they trusted! Challenge Cup
After 3 hard rounds of competitive golf, the 2019 Challenge Cup has resulted in the first ever draw. A big thanks to all that took the time to join the fun. Your Captains.
2019 Club Championship results
I'd like to thank all the members that participated in our 2019 Championship. A big shout out to the Greens Crew for the quick cleanup of the course after the wind storm toppled many trees. Thanks also to Tom, Alex, the Pro desk staff and the many volunteers that made our premier event a success. Challenge Cup update
Time is running out to get into the Challenge Cup! Challenge yourself to 54 holes of competition. We still have room for a few players in Wintergreen's Ryder Cup. We have also invited some Wintergreen staff to round out the field and join the fun. 30 players so far and we can get up to 40 in. August 24th, 25th, Saturday, Sunday before the long weekend. $75 includes shirt, hat and food:) Email wgsociety@gmail.com
